United States Census Bureau – Configuration Management Tool Administration (CMTA)
EES provides support services to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Technology Management Office (TMO) for their Configuration Management Tool Administration (CMTA). EES provides support for two (2) tasks for the TMO.For the first task, EES is responsible for overseeing the configuration management process for the U.S. Census Bureau’s software lifecycle process which includes software development, testing, implementation, version tracking, and software upgrades. In this capacity, EES provides support services including, but not limited to, producing monthly reports, developing Software Upgrade Plans, performing Configuration Management Tool Administration, developing Tool Migration Plans, performing Tool/Project Migrations, providing training on use of new tools or new versions of tools, and developing process flows and workflows in Team Track.
The second task focuses on configuration management process development, improvement, and documentation services. EES employs and applies configuration management concepts and best practices to assist the development and testing teams in defining the TMO’s configuration management processes. Once defined, EES documents those processes in the configuration management plan(s).
