EES supports the Federal Aviation Administration in providing Information Technology Services to some of the most complex systems in the world. From data management to computer systems application development and maintenance, EES has the experience and expertise in providing these services to government agencies. EES also provides Tier 1 and 2 Help Desk and Technician services for the FAA at various locations. EES also provides Project Management support as well as Program Office support that include subject matter expertise, financial project tracking as well as other specialized administrative support.
Field Technician Support
EES provides direct support to the FAA in their mission to implement and maintain critical Air Traffic Control automation equipment and related systems such as fielded Weather and RADAR equipment. Our IT field support services include maintenance, lifecycle, asset inventory, as well as administrative support.
Help Desk Support
EES provides training and help desk support to application users including troubleshooting error messages, modifying data, assisting users with the application, and ensuring that the application workstations are configured correctly. EES proactively tracks and responds to issues based on trends that have resulted from prior deployments.
Program Office Support
EES provides broad-based IT management support to the FAA’s IT Infrastructure Division in support of the FAA’s Flight Plan objectives to control costs and improve the agency’s capability to make data-driven decisions related to IT. This support includes the development of quantitative/qualitative performance measurements, data analysis, rapid prototyping, testing, and technical support coordination. EES’ development of an accounting and vendor performance database for Strategic Sourcing for the Acquisition of Various Equipment and Supplies (SAVES) resulted in $42M cost savings in the last fiscal year.
EES also provides specialized security expertise and services to FAA National Airspace System (NAS) program owners for the tactical implementation of the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) strategic ISS vision, plans, and policies.
EES provides IT support to the National Airway System Engineering (NAS-E) Group and functionally-related Groups. We provided national software, hardware, technical documentation, scientific and direct engineering support for operational NAS equipment. We also supported surveillance, navigation, and infrastructure facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
As part of the FAA NAS-E group we assisted in providing support at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as well as to the FAA’s NAS which included work in all 50 states plus U.S. territories.
