Program Management

NAS Integration
EES provides expertise in surveillance, navigation, and collision avoidance systems and avionics, as well as engineering and operational aspects of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and their safe and efficient integration into the National Airspace System (NAS).

Data Capture and AnalysisEES provides support to the FAA in collecting and analyzing performance data as well as data collection, reduction and analysis (DR&A) of UAS simulation results.

ADS-B In/Out SMEEES assists the FAA with UAS integration, provide subject matter expertise (SME) of Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out (the continuous transmission of aircraft data) as well an In (the reception and interpretation of such data to properly equipped aircraft.)

Ground Based Radar SMEEES assists the FAA with UAS integration, provide subject matter expertise (SME) of Ground-Based RADAR such as Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) system, Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR), Airport Surveillance Radar-9 (ASR-9), Wind Shear Processor (WSP) and Low Level Wind Shear Alerting System (LLWAS).
